Description:   Portrait of man, under life size, standing on rectangular plinth. Head and neck carved in one piece with thin and narrow body, with sloping shoulders; right upper arm and slightly bent elbow were held against body, while forearm and hand held out in front and downwards; he has chunky leg and foot. He wears floor-length chlamys pinned at right shoulder with crossbow fibula with three knobs, knee-length long-sleeved tunic, wide belt and slip-on shoes with high back and tongue. Chlamys completely covered front, rear and left side of body, while it is open at right, revealing right arm, tunic, belt, right leg and foot. Folds of chlamys on chest define body underneath somewhat, and surface smooth and polished, while all details of costume are clearly and confidently depicted in realistic fashion.
Material:   White marble.
Condition:   Missing parts. Single frgt., preserving torso and legs, missing head and neck, right arm, left side and back of chlamys, right toe, right side of plinth. Upper surface of fibula broken, front of chlamys below belt chiseled away to flatten to reuse.

Chronology:   closest in style to S-314, in costume also to S-819, S-822, S-903, S-925, S-2046
