Description: | Statuette ca. 1/3 life size, worked on both sides. Thin outer edge with finished point at base; second fold ends at same level. Broken surface along side may be for third fold set at right angle to other two, forming curve of drapery around inner surface. Outer surface highly polished (often found on Corinthian sculpture 2nd c. AD and later). Inner surface smoothed, indications of drapery tip at top, inner edge of third fold, possibly from himation draped over left arm of female figure. | |
