Description:   Torso of standing nude male; axis of torso suggeststhat weight on right leg, with left leg slightly advanced; left arm held slightly back, perhaps bent; right arm relaxed; rectangular nub on front of left shoulder perhaps trace of pointing; front of torso recalls Doryphoros: deltoids clearly delineated from biceps; right pectoral sharply undercut; subtle digitation. Circumscribed, protruding nipple evidence of bronze prototype (?). Back recalls Omphalos Apollo: shoulder blades and spinse clearly articulated, with rt.blade projecting, lt. flat. Front and back surfaces with little or no tool markings.
