Description:   Large-scale head, hair bound by fillet, convex in section, pierced by at least two holes spaced 00.075 m. apart D00.005; hair parted in middle, falls in flat wavy locks over crown; around face, large curling and twisted locks. Small portion of facepreserved, surface carefully smoothed, possiblypolished. Drill separating fillet from locks andin curling locks. Most of head broken away in small, angular surfaces with one large break at back (or front ?).
Decoration:   A brown paint or substance over hair, fillet; over this gilding in twisted locks framing face.
Material:   Very fine-crystalled white marble.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving top of head, part of rt. (?) side; remainder cut away; traces of paint, gilding.
