Description:   Tapering leg of sphinx, with 3 sharp ridges separated by concavities running down one side of leg, one rounded ridge and narrow one by it down opposite side. Leg nearly solid with central hole D00.006 down axis. Surface highly polished. Prob. from same sphinx as SF 1931 002B,C.

Material:   Core: hard-fired gray-buff clay with moderate amount fine black inclusions. Surface: 5 mm thick fine gray-buff slip.
