Description:   Leg of sphinx, poss. right, preserving outside half from ca. middle. with smooth outer contour, marked shin bone set off deep concavity on front, slight in back. Hollow, central hole D00.020, wall thickness 00.02-00.032. Outer surface polished. Probably from same sphinx as SF XXXX 1, SF 1975 4.
Material:   Core: pink clay with moderate amount black coarse inclusions. Surface: 203 mm thick fine clay fired hard yellow.

Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., broken all around.
