Description:   Miniature bust modeled to below pectorals, mounted on an irregularly cut rectangular base. Hair short, possibly tied by thin fillet, long strands over crown divided by flat chisel, with thick clumps framing face and back of head. Broad face with wide forehead, sharp brow ridges, rt. faceted; deepset eyes only sketchily rendered, rt. more indistinct than lt.; nose broad at tip, nostrils not pierced; wears moustache and short tufted beard. Plump pectorals, arms cut at top of biceps; back softly modeled. Rectangular base worked in one with bust, rising up toward proper lt., bottom flat; rasp on back of base, flat chisel on bottom.
Decoration:   Originally had traces of gilding on hair and beard.
Material:   Fine-crystalled white marble.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact but burning on right side of face, beard, back, four sides and bottom of base.
