Description:   Alabastron with depressed bottom D00.012 within which nipple. Ovoid body with max. diam. below median at H00.017, tapering to base of horizontal outturned rim.
Decoration:   Decoration in black glaze, added purple: bottom reserved, from which extend painted tongues in band H00.009, stripe; band H00.019 of glaze with incised scales, directed upward with double incised outline, horizontal rows alternately purple and black; striipe above, pendant tongues on upper body H00.014; stripe on underside of rim at outer circumference, outer edge plain, 2 concentric rings on rim top, another inside mouth.
Material:   Fine buff clay.

Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact. Dent in lower body made before firing. Glaze partly worn.
