Description:   Mouldmade figurine of young Eros, standing frontally with weight on right leg, left bent; short pointed wings stand out to either side of head. Wears twisted wreath around head; long curly locks; small blurred features. Partly covered by chlamys, tied at right houlder and pulled by left hand in a diagonal across chest, gathered at left hip and covering left side. Rest of body nude. Right arm bent, holding a sheep's (?) head, at which a small dog with curly tail jumps; stipples on body. Stands on a rectangular low plinth with inset panel across front. Back not modelled. Round vent hole, D. 0.017m at mid back. Hollow, bottom open. Inscription across botttom, at back of plinth.
Writing:   inscribed. ΘΕΟΠΟΜ ΠΟΥ
Material:   Grayish- tan to reddish tan clay, hard-fired with a few scattered fine inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Slightly redder than 10YR 7/4
Condition:   Complete or intact. Two joining fragments.
