Description:   Winged Eros astride a prancing horse. His torso is turned toward the viewer and his left hand hangs down at his side. A cloak is thrown back over his shoulder. His head is too large for his body, with blurred features and an odd hairstyle accentuated by a garlanded wreath, Both horse and Eros are awkwardly proportioned. They stand on a low base with moldings at top and bottom. Back not modelled. Made in a two-part mold; vent in back and bottom open.
Material:   Fine, hard-fired tan clay, no inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Fired 7.5YR, 7/4 to slightly redder.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete except for chips; the vent has been filled with plaster.
