Description:   Pointed aryballos with tiny vertical ring foot, narrow resting surface, flat undersurface. Ovoid body with max. diam. at H00.033, curving into flat shoulder, tall cylindrical neck H00.013, horizontal outturned rim. Vertical strap handle, attached to shoulder, bending in slightly then out to rim.
Decoration:   Decoration in black to red-brown glaze, purple. Stripe on foot, resting and undersurfaces reserved, ring on interior of foot. On lower body band of heavy pointed rays between 2 thin lines H00.010, 2 broad glazed bands, reserved band H00.010 decorated with row of dot rosettes (7), 2 bands above; on broad bands thinner purple stripe. On shoulder, lt. to rt., hare running lt., followed by coursing hound to lt., all in glaze without incision. Neck, underside and edge of rim reserved. On top of rim glaze band with added purple stripe, 9 glazed rays surrounding mouth, points out. Stripe down either edge of handle, single stripe down mid back.
Material:   Fine pinkish-buff clay. Numerous tiny black dots over surface, not inclusions.

Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact. Crack in lower body below handle.
