Description:   Lamp with sloping walls and slightly concave discus. Rim is flat. Nozzle is straight, shallow, and has a small hole. Fill hole possibly partially preserved below gladiator.
Decoration:   Rim has a plain rectangular panel to the left of the figural scene. Rim is separated from discus by two sharp grooves. Two grooves on either side of the nozzle. Within discus, gladiatorial scene with part of one figure preserved. On left, gladiator faces right, wearing helmet and armor, and thrusts sword with right hand.

Material:   soft buff clay with very few small gray inclusions
Munsell Color:   10YR 7/4 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining fragments preserve less than half of discus and rim, and all of nozzle. Handle and base are missing. Unglazed.
