Description:   Attic volute krater with vertical neck, outward thickened rim, overhanging.
Decoration:   Neck glazed, figured band on rim: (A) preserves l. to r., draped figure, seated lt.; figure with shield on back mounting quadriga standing r.; draped man seated l., with staff in r. hand; archer with raised l. hand standing r. looking l. Helmeted figure with round shield and lowered spear standing l.; (B) preserves part of overhanding rim with key pattern to l., black line above and below, r. end of frieze: archer, standing l., looking r., l. hand raised; several draped figures, seated l.; "C" lower part of two figures standing l., one with greaves and shield one with drapery and staff, both between thick black vertical members, possibly door-jambs. White for shield and helmet decorations, dots on garments and manes of horses; no red.
Material:   Fine pinkish-buff clay.
Condition:   Fragment. Three nonjoining fragments, preserving parts of neck, rim.
