Description:   Lekythos with disk foot with narrow resting surface, concave inner face, articulated from undersurface by fine ridge. Attenuated globular body curving into low sloping shoulder; neck offset by shallow plastic ring; tall narrow neck, straight flaring rim, thickened flat lip. Vertical strap handle from shoulder to base of rim.
Decoration:   Black glaze over all except face of foot and underside; red-figure palmette on body opposite handle: 11 petals with pointed central leaf, 2 concentric arcs for heart; rests on ground line, set in pointed arch, single large upright petal and circle to either side. Possible red wash on underside.
Material:   Fine red-brown clay.

Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact; glaze chipped on rim.
