Description:   Mouldmade face or mask, modeled flat to rise off of suspended plaque. Thin, shelf-like ridge extending to interior off of plaque face, pierced with one partially preserved suspension hole (if object represents top left side of face, suspension hole would run vertically rather than horizontally). Two suspension holes (diam. 0.005) along edges of hair on plaque, piercing plaque but plugged prior to firing. Hair tresses short and finely modelled, with deep grooves separating tresses and individual hairs modelled with incised lines. Slightly triangular depression, possibly leading to eye, and ear modeled with a clump of clay, ear form not preserved.
Decoration:   White slip.
Material:   Fine gray to pinkish gray clay, fired pink at surface.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 7.5YR 7/4 (pink), Core: 7.5YR 6/1 to 7.5YR 6/2 (grey to pinkish grey)
Condition:   Fragment. Single fragment broken all around, with plaque broken on top and left, and broken down the side of the face on the right and with ear chipped; traces of slip remaining on clay surface.
