Description:   Head, ca. half life-size, wearing hair short. Hair rendered by strips of clay folded and applied to core of head, or by wads. Subsequently gouged with blunt tool to simulate curls. Along face (?) short incised lines. Hole for ventilation or suspension pierced through top of head (diam. 0.009). Interior shows wads. Head similar to V-300 except that pellets for locks coarser.
Decoration:   Red paint applied directly to hair. White slip along face.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay, light gray at core.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow), Core: 10YR 7/2 (light gray)
Condition:   Fragment. Several joining fragments giving top of head. Possibly broken along left side of face. Traces of slip, paint remaining on clay surface.

Findspot Description:   Asklepieion.
