Description:   Upright left leg with small buttock, nearly cylindrical thigh, naturally modelled knee cap, slender calf, relatively thick ankle. Leg hollow with plain flattened lip at upper end; below lip a suspension hole, diam. 0.020, on either side of buttock. Interior shows overlapping wads. No consistent seam as if from a two-part mould.
Decoration:   Surface now partially peeled, with long strokes as if from paring with a wire cutter or blunt knife. White slip on exterior.
Material:   Fine light yellow clay without inclusions, surface unevenly fired, back of leg as interior or pale yellow; along front, tan to dark brown.
Munsell Color:   Core: 2.5Y 8/3 to 5Y 8/2.5; Surface: 10YR 8/4 to ca. 5YR 6/4-5YR 5/4
Condition:   Fragment. Numerous joining fragments, from midway up left buttock and finished upper edge to ca. ankle. Small part of thigh missing, top inside of calf and most of circumference of leg near lower break. Surface peeling. Slip well preserved on upper part of thigh.
