Description:   Life-sized finger, exactly which unclear. Finger extended, round in section and tapering to rounded tip with very faint rendering of two joints - upper one clearer - by slight swellings but no incised creases. Long finger nail, rounded at base and square cut at tip. Finger worked free of other fingers. Finger solid, surface not carefully smoothed; probably handmade.
Decoration:   Traces of white slip, but no overlying paint.
Material:   Fine clay, fired buff at surface to greenish core, with rare angular black inclusions, fine voids.
Munsell Color:   Surface: between 7.5YR 7/4 and 10YR 7/4 or slightly yellower; core: near 2.5Y 8/2
Condition:   Fragment. single frgt., from tip to just below 2nd joint from tip. Traces of slip.
