Description:   Life-sized finger, possibly little finger of rt. hand. Finger extended, round in section and rounded at tip, widening at preserved base on proper lt. side as if for attachment to palm and base of next finger; proper rt. side straight. From front finger appears straight; from side seems slightly flexed. Apparently worked free of other fingers. Rendering of joints limited to incised pairs of creases on underside. Nail simply incised on surface, round at base and square across tip. Surface not completely smoothed; solid to ca. 2nd joint from tip, then hollow.
Decoration:   Traces of white slip; possible faint red stain on proper lt. side but not on white slip.
Material:   Fine clay fired unevenly at surface from buff to light reddish tan, rare angular fine black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   From slightly pinker than 10YR 7/4 to 5YR 5/6.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., finger preserved from tip to just below 2nd joint. Traces of slip.
