Description: | Life-sized hollow head, probably female, with hair drawn back from face. Hair rendered by irregular scraped channels. Large eye, relatively shallow-set beneath eyebrow. Arch below eyebrow puffy. Eye well-shaped with pronounced tear duct. Heavy upper lid which stands out from both brow bone and eyeball, meets lower lid at outer corner with upper line of it going beyond corner. Lower lid continues into concave pocket beneath eye. Pupil flat. Groove offsets upper lid from brow bone. Possibly mouldmade since thickness is consistent, interior smooth, but with much retouching. | |
