Title:   FEEDING BOTTLE WITH BASKET HANDLE

Description:   Miscellaneous Other Ware (Type F) according to Blegen (Zygouries). Jug with flat base, upright oval body, high splaying neck, wide mouth, basket handle, and a tubular spout from the side, following the axis of the handle. The neck and the handle are almost completely preserved, as is the base.
Decoration:   Surface is covered with a heavy red slip which is burnished. Handle is decorated with row of incised chevrons done in broad shallow lines.
Material:   Red clay, slightly gray at core
Condition:   Complete profile. Much of body, rim, some of handle, and all of spout (except attachment) missing, RIP
Dimensions Actual:   H (body): 0.16; H (to top of handle): 0.20; max D: 0.128; D of mouth along handle: 0.098; rim (transverse): 0.119
