Description:   Stirrup jar with flat bottom, narrow stem curving into tall ovoid body, max. diam. at ca. H00.20, rounded shoulder, narrow neck contracting to flat stopper D00.086 which extends beyond neck. Large spout rising vertically from shoulder beside neck with torus rim. Two vertical strap handles attached to mid shoulder and stopper.
Decoration:   Two black to red glazed bands on stem. 3 red bands at max. diam., 3 on shoulder at base of spout, in shoulder zone opposite spout pair of upside down 3-petal flowers. Red spiral band on stopper top, circle around base and top of spout, halfflowers flanking spout, horizontal bars on handlebacks.
Material:   Coarse tan to light reddish tan clay with frequent fine black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., complete profile, both handles, spout. Missing center bottom, small portion of lower body, poss. 1/4 mid-body, ca. 1/8 shoulder, small part of spout rim.
