Description:   Jar with flat bottom, short stem curving into ovoidbody with max. diam. at ca. H00.19, high roundedshoulder, slight ridge at base of narrow conicalneck, flat stopper extending beyond neck. Widespout rising vertically from shoulder, torus rim.Two vertical strap handles attached to midshoulder, stopper. Pair of holes in bottom and topof both handles.
Decoration:   Black glaze band on stem, lower body, 2 just belowmax. diam., 3 at base of shoulder; on shoulder, SideA, 2 upside down 3-petal flowers, half-flowers flankingspout, circle at base, top of spout. Drop on neck, 3concentric circles on stopper, horizontal bars onhandle backs.
Material:   Coarse tan clay with numerous fine black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Between 10YR 7/3 and 7.5YR 7/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., missing center bottom, 2-3 large holes in lower body, ca. 1/2 mid body, several holes in shoulder; neck, stopper and handles complete; over half spout RIP.
