Description:   Uncertain shape, probably a sauceboat.
Decoration:   Dark-on-Light Pattern Painted (Blegen's Ware C, class 1): dark to light brown decoration depicting (possibly) some sort of chevron motif, dramed in between two of the three raised, sharp angular, deocrative ribs, on very pale brown field. Slipped ext., unslipped int.
Material:   Very fine very pale brown clay with rare black round inclusions and no voids.
Munsell Color:   Decoration: 10YR 4/3 (brown)–5/4 (yellowish brown); 10YR 8/2 (very pale brown); interior: 10YR 7/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., preserving part of body
