Description:   Pyxis, with globular body and low vertical rim (Wiencke 2000, Lerna 4, pp. 581–582). Similar to P141 in Wiencke 2000, Lerna 4, pp. 346–347, fig. II.8.
Decoration:   Dark-on-Light Pattern Painted (Blegen's Ware C, class 1): light brown unslipped surface filled with dark reddish brown Wiencke motif 14a Dots (Wiencke 2000, Lerna 4, p. 612, fig. II.99) . Similar to Z-8 (Blegen 1928, Zygouries, pp. 104, fig. 89).
Material:   Very fine very pale brown clay with rare very fine rounded black inclusions and very rare very fine voids.
Munsell Color:   Decoration: 2.5YR 4/3 (reddish brown); surface and core: 10YR 7/4 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving ca. 40% of rim and part of upper body. Slip of decoration heavily worn off.
