Description: | Cup with single high handle. Made of simple bowl on a flat base, with a huge broad, ridged handle extending in a loop high above the rim on one side. The weight of the handle makes it impossible for the cup to stand on its base; perhaps it was hung up by the loop. String marks appear on the bottom showing how the vessel was cut from the wheel when shaped. | |
