Decoration:   Dark-on-Light Pattern Painted (Blegen's Ware C, class 1): dark brown Rutter pattern IVA Horizontal Short Diagonal Bars, most similar to motif 29 but with additional intervening horizontal line and at least four bars below (Rutter 1995, Lerna 3, p. 511) on very pale brown field. Similar to Lerna IV P386, in Rutter 1995, Lerna 3, p. 119, fig. 22.
Material:   Fine dark gray clay with common very fine rounded black inclusions without voids.
Munsell Color:   Field: 10YR 7/3 (very pale brown); interior core: 10YR 4/1 (dark gray); decoration: 7.5YR 3/2 (dark brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving part of body (shoulder). Surface well worn. Some chips and scratches to slip.
