Description:   A bodysherd from a closed shape, likely somewhat globular, possibly jug/juglet. It is Mycenaean Lustrous Painted in decoration.
Decoration:   Lustrous Paint. Red. 3 horiizontal bands with unfilledcricles between lower two bands. The motif is FM 41, circles.
Material:   Fine Clay,pink buff, very rare white small inclusions
Munsell Color:   5 YR 8/4 pink
Condition:   Fragment. One Body sherd
Manufacture:   Wheelmade
Period:   Late Helladic I (1650-1500 BC)
Chronology:   Blegen dates this sherd MH based on MM III parallels. Redated here to LH I since it is clearly Mycenaean decorated. The unfilled circle motif according to Furumark 1941 fig. 57, only occurs in LH I, giving this as our date.
