Description:   Deep Rounded Bowl with Horizontal Handles (FF 80, FS 279). Similar to CP-307 and CP-308 (Blegen 1921, Korakou, pp. 48–49, figs. 64–65).
Decoration:   Dark brown festoon design covering rim and hanging down onto body, framing register. Similar to CP-220 (Blegen 1921, Korakou, p. 50, fig. 66, left). Dark brown MH-derived zigzag (looks like FM 53 Wavy Line, no. 17, but of much earlier date and thus unrelated to from FM 53 or FM 61). Similar to Waldstein 1905, Argive Heraeum 2, p. 73, no. 9, fig. 7. The festoon and zigzag combination on Deep Bowls is a MH II Style-derived decorative syntax (Furumark 1941, Mycenaean Pottery, p. 47, 227).
Material:   Very fine very pale brown clay without inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Field: 10 YR 7/4 (very pale brown); decoration: 10YR 2/1 (black) to 2/2 (very dark brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Sixteen frgts., preserving 40% of rim and part of body.
