Description: | Bead resembling the shape of a human foot. The large string hole (0.002-0.005m), through the "ankle," was bored from both sides with a conical drill, but the junction at the center was not not quite true. Possibly served as a seal. Blegen notes possible parallels from Tholos B at Koumasa, the larger tholos at Hagia Triada, the tholos at Marathokephalon, and at Platanos (Blegen 1928, p. 218).
Decoration: | Seven shallow borings on the bottom, three pairs and a single one at the heel. Though likely a seal, Blegen also notes a possible amuletic significance to the markings (Blegen 1928, p. 197).
Material: | Speckled grayish green stone
Condition: | Complete or intact. Complete.
Period: | Early Helladic
