Excavations produced wasters (accidentally melted ceramics) of pottery made from the white marl clay underlying the limestone bedrock. Moulds indicate that the potters also made figurines, painted plaques, and votive shields. Later excavators found two stelai shrines.","","Monument" "Corinth","Corinth:Image:bw 1999 002 04","Figurine","Corinth:Image:bw 1999 002 04::/Corinth/Photos/negatives/year_roll/1999_002/1999_st_002_004.jpg::1182::1800","","","Corinthia | Ancient Corinth | Ancient Corinth, West","bw 1999 002 04","","","","","","Image" "Corinth","Corinth:Image:bw 1999 002 05","Figurine","Corinth:Image:bw 1999 002 05::/Corinth/Photos/negatives/year_roll/1999_002/1999_st_002_005.jpg::1187::1800","","","Corinthia | Ancient Corinth | Ancient Corinth, West | Potters' Quarter","bw 1999 002 05","","","","","","Image"
