This sherd is from a Straight sided cup, eg. Buck 1966 Shape A13. We cannot tell if it is a Keftiu cup as not enough is preserved of the lower body to know if there is a midrib. Linear matt painted bands ... This could be as late as LH I. |
Base sherd of an open shape. It could be a type 3 Vapheio cup, but is matt painted. It could also be a ''panelled'/ semi-ovoid cup. Linear Matt Painted bands Fine palebuff clay, very few to no inclusions ... Blegen Class 2 matt painted. Likely late MH or LH I due to shape. |
A body sherd of what seems to be a cup. Exact curvature with Korakou cp.3358 suggests it is a semiovoid cup. Three diagonal lines. Buck motif 64b. Cf. Korakou p.24, 34.6 Lerna, Hesperia 25, pl.40.6 Fine ... Parallels are MH but could be later, but cannot say without contextual information. |
