[Corinth Object] FS 2007 1: SIMA WITH LIONHEAD SPOUT

Terracotta sima with lion head water spout. The nose bridge is raised and slopes down towards both cheeks. Incised V's point off nose on both sides towards recessed eyes which have lower eye lid wrinkle ... Nose and muzzle smaller than Classical spouts FS 381 and FS 382, and closer to FS 1071 (3/4 of 4th c. BC on S Stoa parallels); more plastic than Roman ones.
