Notes:   Cut down both sections to Level VIII 130-145. The quantity of pottery did not diminish materially. As to quality there were many fine pieces of LM I and II but not so many as in level VI. Minyan begins to appear. One piece of ivory was brot up.

In East Alley the deposit still continues.
VIII 1.30-1.45 Painted sherds still continue. Seem to be largely LM I. Sherds here are not so numerous as in VI and VII. Large no. of unpainted brown [bowls crossed out] goblets (kylikes).
