Stratum:   Fill below pit 2006-3 equalling B 16. Light reddish brown silty sand, slightly compacted with 10% sm cobbles.
Notes:   We opened up a cleaning basket just to the west of B 16. The area here is of interest to our trench, since it is over the line of wall 294. It had been exposed for some time before we arrived so we cleaned off a small, irregular balk that was left by Pit 2006-3 down to the level of the bottom of B 16.
