Type:   Basket
Name:   NB983 B6 P20

Category:   Basket/zembil
Notebook:   983
Context:   6
Page:   20
Date:   2006/06/06
Stratum:   Pit
Notes:   The matrix of this basket is light brown sandy silt, loose, with 15-20% cobble inclusions. B6 is the removal of a layer with cobble inclusions that formed part of the bottom of B5. It was decided to remove this layer separately from the rest of the contents of the pit because of the differences in its matrix and the fact that it seemed to be placed on top of a sandy layer with rare inclusions. 80% of the soil was dry sieved and 20% was reserved for water sieving.
