Stratum:   Strip of pebbles running N-S under B 32. Soil is dark reddish brown sandy clay with 80% pebbles, no cobbles, loose.
Notes:   B 33 is a thin strip of pebbles washed over the bottom of B 32. B 32 resulted in this sahpe (see pg. 60) with B 33 making a thin line. B 33 goes under the baulk to the north, but Guy suggests we excavate it first anyway; the entirety may very well be natural features. There is hardly any pottery at all. Is this a water-made feature? See top plan pg. 59.
