Description: | The soil color is dark brownish black. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes: | -158 lightler than 156; fewer inclusions and firmer than 156. -Excavation of topmost exposed level inside Room 12. -Room had previously been excavated down to level of tile fall in SE corner of room, next to walls 142/threshold into courtyard and 153/E. threshold. -Topmost level amlost ot floor level; only small amount excavated and between tiles in SE corner of room; no tiles from tile fall removed. -Possible small grave revealed in NE corner of room; this is a small oval area ringed by tiles. -Other than large debris pile in SE corner of trench and smaller debris area in NW sector and possible grave (which seems to be cut into a floor surface) rest of exposed earth seems harder and more compact, and is likely floor surface (tiles/debris laying on this surface).
