Notes:   -88 is a similar consistency to 84
-Excavation of possible pit, filled with similar material/matrix as 84.
-Almost immediately, several objects (glass, iron tacks and nails, slag, bronze strip) recovered from context; the decision was therefore made to sieve part of the context, as we may be dealing with a refuse pit.
-Shape of context morphed as excavation continued into more rectangular-shaped context, not semi-circular or oval as first thought. The rectangular trench (cut?) is 15-20 cm deep, shallower as it slopes up to the N. in a semicircle.
Finds: glass, iron tacks and nails, iron slag, bronze strip
NA-148: Bronze Ring
Thin, flat reserved bronze ring.
