Stratum:   30% poorly sorted inclusions of pottery sherds, bone fragments, shell, tile fragments and small to medium pebbles (subrounded and angular) in a loose dark yellowish brown sandy silt.
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. Bottom slope of the context is slight down to the NThe soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   After completing B101 we reevaluated the relationships between the contexts revealed by the removal of B98. The major context revealed under B98 [later excavated as B145] extends under the clay floors associated with the oven to the W. Therefore it can not be excavated at this time. So we returned to the E 1/2 of the excavation area and are now excavating a deposit of softer darker soil that cuts its surrounding deposits [surrounding deposits later dug with B165 and 172].
We decided, since B104 could be a rubbish pit as it is very soft and has many inclusions, to dry sieve every tenth wheelbarrow of soil to be safe.
