Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the S. Bottom slope of the context is slight down to the SThe soil color is dark pinkish black. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   After completing B104 on 14/05/07 Andreas started to excavate B111. This context's shape looks roughly like the outline of a grave but it is definitely not a grave. B111 was very shallow. Only a very small amount of bone and a small amount of pottery was recovered. This is in direct contrast to the large amount recovered from B104 the context directly above B111.
The interpretation of this context is difficult. The shape of the cut that this fill is inside would suggest that this is pit fill - the sides are curved. But the inclusions in the soil are not consistant with pit fill - there are very few inclusions. So is it leveling fill? Since this context is only partially inside the excavation area - truncated by the E limit of excavation - it is difficult to know what this context is at the present time.
