Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the NW. Bottom slope of the context is slight down to the NWThe soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt.

Shape = oval
Break in slope - top = sharp on the N, E and W sides but gradual on the W side
Sides = vertical on SE and S sides, but concave on W, E and N sides
Break in slope - bottom = sharp on SE and S but gradual on W, NE and N sides
Floor = uneven and slopes to SW.
This cut was only recognized and the fill inside (B11) excavated after the removal of much of the plowzone deposit (B2). However, this pit must postdate the plowing activity in this field as it cuts the furrows (B22) left by the plow.
Cuts into dark yellowish brown firm sandy silt with 20% inclusions, mostly small pebbles and tile fragments.
