Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. Bottom slope of the context is slight down to the NThe soil color is light brownish white. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   B 160 is a basket of firmer soil over most of the bottom of the pit/well. It extends all the way to the north end of the pit and up to the large rock in the southern end. This layer is definitely more ashy than those above it. Something clearly changes here in the pit. More large rocks are appearing in this layer that seem to have been worked. It seems that the soil in the pit cuts into some red soil between the rocks in the south edge of the pit. We are stopping here and moving to another area (after we will remove the pit's martyr) because of logistical reasons of digging this well.
Finds: pottery, bone, 1 piece worked marble, 1 piece of painted floor.
