Stratum:   Inclusions: 10% pebbles (irregularly shaped), few cobbles, some small roots
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. Bottom slope of the context is level down to the The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy clay.
Notes:   This basket is removing a small area in the NW corner of the large area excavated in B 165. This small patch area is much more pebbley and less clay-like than the soil to the south and east of it. Bill is skeptical of its difference. The soil seems much less clay-like as we dig it. The small patch in the NW corner of the area is actually the same soil as that extending east simply with a few rocks on the surface so we are extending the basket east.
Fortunately, this layer sat clearly on top of the white clay layer that was exposed by B 165. We pulled it off and now can remove the clay layer.
