Notes:   Ave. L. of foundations = 0.33m
Ave. W. of foundations = 0.30m
Ave. depth of foundations = 0.30m
There are 9 roughly circular concrete foundations running roughly E-W in the N half of the excavation area. They served as foundations for iron posts, which were cut off at the level of the foundations some time in the recent past. This fence served as the S fence of the main archaeological site until until is was replaced by the current fence (foundations of which were recorded with B17). Immediately N of the fence is the area excavated by H. Robinson in 1961.
There are two phases of modern concrete-founded fence that follow the same property line. This one, B17, is earlier than the other one, B16. This relationship is clear since several of the larger, later foundations (B16) are cemented onto and partially over the smaller, earlier ones (B17).
These two phases of modern fence preserve the same property boundary as the E-W wall, which they are cemented onto in several places.
Note on Drawing (18 April 2008, A.B. & C.G.) - The drawing for this basket is mislabelled. B17 consists of the 9 roughly circular cement foundations, not the 8 larger slabs.
