| Description: | Top slope of the context is moderate down to the S. Bottom slope of the context is moderate down to the SThe soil color is light brownish grey. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is sandy silt. | |
| Notes: | We are excavating just N of "Bothros 7" along the S face of the N wall of Room F, W, because a "lump" has been left here by the 1961 excavators. We want to see if this is excavated pit fill from Bothros 7 - either in 1961 or earlier. We left this deposit when we cleaned the area in B 5003 because it has so many more inclusions than the surrounding area. NOTE: "Bothros 7" is the terminology used by the 1961 excavators. I continue to use this term to designate the large pit in the west half of Room F. [Later note: The Harris Matrix analysis suggests that Bothros 7 cuts this context.] | |
