Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. Bottom slope of the context is slight down to the NThe soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   In excavating B 5068, we realized that we had made an error and that we should have separated the area in two, because this area (B 5069) lies over the soil in most of B 5068, which is now contaminated. However, thiere is sufficient material in 5069 to get a good sample (stratographically correct).
This soil has mud brick in it, with broken roof tiles, a combination which suggests to us that there was a destruction here - although so far this is a very limited area.
We are trying to find the extent of this layer. We will not remove the large broken/whole rooftiles before we have photographed them.
