Description:   Top slope of the context is steap down to the E.
Notes:   The purpose of this cleaning was to 1) remove the exposed, loose stones in the NW section of the excavation area 2) to clean the adjoining E-W wall and prevent modern material from infecting clean contexts. The stones that were removed rested loosely on a naturally formed organic humus layer and had no contextual relationship with other stratum.
Removing this layer permitted a better view of the wall construction underneat. Upon completing the cleaning context, the northern section of the area was seen to be one complete, unified layer, that was then excavated as context 5186.
