Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   Possibly a subfloor level, distinct from above by being less clayey, from below by less inclusions. Raised area at north still unclear as to its relation to the clay floors at south as it is well higher.
We were diggind to figure out the stratigraphy of the clay floors and their relations to both E-W wall (to the south of 5202) and N-S wall (to the west of 5202) in the northern section of our excavation area. This 5202 contained less clay than the context above (5186) and that fact made us believe it is a sub-floor level. The limits of the excavatedat the scarps to the North and East are the result of previous excacation as there are no indicators of a natural stopping point. The map of the 60's excavation, which was recently made available to us, confirmed our interpretation that the scarps were formed by preivous excavations. The map also revealed no walls enclosing the northern section of our excavation area where 5202 is defined and males interpretation of the clay floor levels more difficult since they are not related to a wall phase. This context and the floor associated with it above (5186) do not have a clear relation to the N-S or E-W walls.
At the bottom of context 5202, a semi-circular fill is revealed and will be removed as the next context.
