Description:   The context shape in plan is circular. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are vertical. The break at the base of the cut is sharp. The base of the cut is vertical sides and flat base. Truncation: truncated by pit cut 513 and pit cut 517.
Notes:   Pit cut 526 is a circular pit cut through the fill of an earlier pit that appear to have been cut through the floor that extends between walls 313 and 332. The original top elevation of the cut is not preserved as the pit was truncated by two later pits 517 and 513. It is also clear that the pit cut 526 truncates two earlier pits: in addition to the pit fill 519 and 520 (cut 527) that the pit cut 526 truncates to the north, pit cut 526 truncates the fills of another earlier pit to the south (cut 528). The northwestern edge of the pit cut 526 is shared with the earlier pit cut 528 which cuts through the fills 519 and 520 of the pit cut 527 and continues into the deposit below the bottom elevation of the pit cut 527. In the excavation of the pit fill 525, the east edge of the pit 526 was dug away and the east wall of the earlier pit 528 was revealed; it continues a southern arc ca. 0.25 cm behind the pit cut 526.
